"Supper Six"

UPDATE!!

We have had a lot of requests for a "dine out" option rather than an in-home option to Supper Six.  We are responding and think this is a very good addition to the ministry.  If you elect to do the Dine Out option, your group will decide where, and meet at a convenient restaurant each month for six months.  If you have already signed up electronically, please use the link below and re-apply and indicate which option you prefer.  This will save us from having to call you and ask. 

Welcome to the new Supper Six ministry information page at Covenant.  This is an exciting new ministry which we think will be a lot of fun and allow many of us to get to know each other a lot better.  Supper Six is open to any and all who want to participate. 

Supper Six will actually begin meeting in March 2011 for those who sign up.  Here's how it works:

After all interested persons have signed up, the Supper Six committee will assign each person / couple to a group of six people.  Singles and couples will be mixed in the groups. Then, on March 13, 2011 at 6:00pm, depending upon whether you signed up for the in-home option or the dining out option, the groups will meet for supper at one of the group member's homes or a restaurant for the first time.  After that, each group will meet for supper on the second Sunday evening of each month.  Each member of dine in groups will be responsible for hosting supper once during the 6 month period (couples will host twice).  Dining Out groups will be responsible for deciding where their next meeting will be.  During the six month Supper Six season, each group member will have the opportunity to dine with the other members of the group for an evening while enjoying the company of the group six times. 

This idea has been very successful in other churches and we are excited about giving it a try at Covenant.  It can be a lot of fun and is not that difficult on anyone.  If you are interested in signing up, please click on the link below and you will be provided with an on-line form for registering.  We will communicate the group assignments early in March.
